She maintained her composure for her mother’s sake, but unease settled in as Edwin effortlessly charmed her mother, showing off his cooking skills and telling stories from his travels.

Kristi tried to probe deeper into his past, but he remained evasive, leaving her more suspicious.

Outside on the terrace, Kristi gently questioned her mother about Edwin, pointing out the strange circumstances of how quickly things were moving.

Her mother, however, dismissed her concerns, convinced that Edwin was a loving and genuine man. Kristi felt a growing dread but couldn’t convince her mother, who seemed blinded by Edwin’s apparent charms.

Determined to protect her mother, Kristi decided to investigate further. She recalled an important detail from the flight and headed to the airline office to check the passenger list, under the pretense of returning a lost item.

The representative confirmed that a passenger named Isabella had indeed reported lost jewelry, which was now in Kristi’s possession. Kristi contacted Isabella, arranging a meeting to discuss Edwin.

When Kristi met Isabella, she quickly realized that the woman was unaware of Edwin’s engagement to her mother.

Isabella revealed that Edwin had recently asked her for a large sum of money for an emergency, and they were supposed to meet soon for her to give it to him. Kristi proposed a plan to expose Edwin, and Isabella agreed to help.

Kristi and Isabella set a trap for Edwin at a restaurant where Isabella was supposed to hand over the money. Kristi disguised herself as a waitress and swapped Edwin’s phone during a staged mishap.

She discovered an active dating profile and messages that mirrored those sent to her mother. Just as Kristi was gathering evidence, Edwin caught her in the act, leading to a tense confrontation.

Kristi narrowly escaped physical harm, but the police were called, and she found herself in trouble, with her mother deeply disappointed and unwilling to listen to her warnings.

Despite the setback, Kristi didn’t give up. She and Isabella accessed Edwin’s dating profile and warned his other targets about his deceit.

They planned to crash the wedding between Edwin and Kristi’s mother, ensuring he couldn’t continue his scam.

On the day of the wedding, everything seemed perfect. Edwin, unaware of what was coming, stood at the altar, ready to marry Kristi’s mother. Suddenly, a crowd of women stormed the chapel, all victims of Edwin’s deception. Chaos ensued as the women confronted him, and the ceremony descended into pandemonium. The police eventually intervened, leading a humiliated Edwin away. Kristi’s mother, though devastated, was too proud to admit she had been wrong. Kristi knew it would take time for her mother to heal, but she was determined to ensure Edwin faced the consequences of his actions.
